Under the wallpaper

First we stripped the wall paper, then Frank & Janene textured the ceiling bringing it down on the angled walls to change the look of the room. we had to do a lot of drywall repairs on the walls because the walls were only prepped for wallpaper & not paint when the room was built.

The beige color I painted here is Glidden Cafe Latte GLN16

This color is Behr Spiced Wine PPU1-13. I used Glidden duo eggshell finish, which has the primer in paint.

Do the ceilings need painted?

Sometimes people don't notice how bad their ceilings look until their walls are painted.

If your house was built in the last 20 years, your ceilings were most likely not painted when the house was built. Over time the drywall mud will yellow. Here's a trick, hold up a white piece of paper on the ceiling, if the ceiling looks yellowish or grayish they need painted.

M.E. Construction Inc. was the contractor for this project,

Mike & his crew  power washed,

& replaced any damaged or warped boards & panels.

everyone caulked scraped & primed,

then we masked off the windows & brick,

& Tony sprayed the brown color,

which is SW Black Bean.
