Kim's Kitchen

First i sanded all the cabinets & woodwork
with the palm sander

I stripped the wallpaper & found the walls aren't drywall.
Then i went over all the woodwork & cabinets

with the original stain color

& used a high gloss polyurathane on all the wood

Since the walls are wood instead of drywall i decided to texture them with lace, this was my sample board.

So i took down my lace curtains, put them on the wall & evenly spread drywall mud over them
then pulled the lace back off the wall leaving the textured pattern of the curtain on the wall
next i primed the walls, & did a green & white faux finish to make the lace pattern stand out
kinda looks like wallpaper,

except when i get tired of it i can just paint it a different color

we could also make lace walls without the drywall mud texture

just using paint.
